HDFC Ltd will stop trading from 13th July, 2023

Announcement

In pursuant to the Amalgamation of HDFC Ltd and HDFC Bank the following important events will occur:

a)Every holder of 25 HDFC Ltd shares will get 42 shares of HDFC Bank Ltd. Read here for more information.

b)As a result, HDFC ltd shares will stop trading in the Exchanges from 13th July, 2023.

c)All HDFC Ltd contracts with July, August and September Expiry will expire on July 12, 2023 and shall be physically settled.

d)The expiry date of all HDFC Ltd contracts will display old expiry dates. But the contracts will stop trading from 12th July, 2023

e)Physical settlement margin and policies will be therefore, applicable for all open HDFC Ltd contracts

f)As physical settlement margins will be applicable, fresh positions are blocked in HDFC Ltd F&O contracts
