SGX Nifty indicates a positive start for the Indian indices
The Nifty saw another superb day with the index seeing its biggest gain in over 6 months as auto, banks & metals led the short-covering/value buying rally with the index closing higher by nearly 300 points. Bank Nifty also closed higher by 666 points or gains of over 1600 points in 2 days. Midcap 50 index closed higher by 1.73% as risk-on trade saw midcaps also join the party.
Vedanta to consider second interim dividend for FY22
Vedanta Ltd on Saturday said its board will consider the second interim dividend on Saturday. The record date for the dividend, if any, is fixed for December 18. The board of mining giant Vedanta Ltd said its board will meet on Saturday, December 11, to consider a second interim dividend for Financial Year 2021-22. The record date for the dividend is fixed at December 18, the company said in an exchange filing on Wednesday. Dividends are paid to only those shareholders who appear on a company’s shareholder list before the record date or cut-off date.RailTel Corp bags ₹211 crore order from Ircon International
RailTel Corp announced on Wednesday that it has received a contract worth ₹210.77 crore
RailTel Corporation of India has received work order from Ircon International for design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of tunnel communication system consisting of emergency call & service telephone, CCTV, tunnel radio and PA system in tunnel environment on Dharam – Banihal section of Jammu Kashmir Rail Link Project under Ferozepur division of Northern Railway at a total cost of Rs 210.77 crore. The entire work is to be completed in a period of twelve months.

Indiabulls Housing Finance: The company has announced the issue of secured, redeemable, non-convertible debentures of a face value of Rs 1,000 each. The issue opens on December 9 and closes on December 20 with an option of early closure. The Issue has a base size of Rs 200 crore with an option to retain oversubscription up to Rs 800 crore, aggregating up to Rs 1,000 crore.
